Cover has some shelf/seam wear, some creasing, and a small hole punch near top right corner that is only on front part of gatefold. There are also two small tears on front cover near top right corner – ask for photos. No seam splits present. Disc has some surface marks/light scuffs on either side but no deep marks. Side two label has a small tear on it near bottom left corner. Confirmed "+" in matrix and played track A4 to confirm "Road to Birmingham" is included. Rare!

Mispressing of Mott The Hoople’s self-titled debut album, mistakenly including the track “The Road to Birmingham” as well as alternate versions of other songs. Island Records mistakenly used the wrong stampers to press the earliest copies of Mott’s first album; these copies include “The Road To Birmingham” at the end of Side 1 and “Backsliding Fearlessly” as the first track on Side 2 (omitting ”Rock and Roll Queen.”) Additionally, there is an alternate mix of “Laugh At Me”, a different version of “Half Moon Bay,” an extended intro to “Rabbit Foot And Toby Time”, and an alternate “Wrath And Wroll” with with a few bars of “God Save The Queen” at the end.
