Damage to the original master tapes for “Heroes” required the remastering team to make decisions that resulted in noticeable differences in some tracks on the final master and public releases.

Parlophone offered to all owners of the box a free replacement Disc 2 with a remastered “Heroes” track that did not contain what sounded like a volume drop. Warners replacement disc offer ended 1 Jun 2018.
