Recorded at the Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on December 27, 1962.

This is the first edition of the planned 1963 version of Here To Stay, including its original Reid Miles cover design. While Blue Note had scheduled the album for release as BST 84135, it was never issued. In 1976, the tracks were packaged with the contents of 1961’s [r=3395220] and issued as a [url=https://www.discogs.com/master/1821244]double album[/url] (BN-LA496-H2).

Vinyl record manufactured and pressed in France from master discs cut by direct metal mastering (DMM) process from digitally remastered source. LP housed in standard single sleeve with obi.

Catalog number appears as 84135 on front cover, as BST 84135 on back cover, spine & center labels.

Center label layout differs from [r=17459779], a similar version of this release. Also, the sleeve of this release was printed in the U.S.A., while the other’s sleeve was printed in Canada.
