“Electronically Rechanneled For Stereo” (front jacket); “Electronically Re-Recorded To Simulate Stereo” (rear jacket). The catalogue number RS 3029 appears on the jacket spine and front; RS-3029 is on the jacket rear and labels. Not all copies had the “Not For Sale” sticker.

The per-track personnel credits are listed on the rear cover, broken up by Sextet (A1, A2, A4, B1, B3) and Quartet (A3, B2 and B4.) In addition, “A note on instrumentation: Herbie Mann plays flute on [A1], [A3] and {B4]; bass clarinet on [A4] only; alto flute on the other four selections. Jack Nimits plays baritone sax on [A1] and [A4]; bass clarinet on [A2, B1 and B3].”
Of note: On the jacket and label, B1 is attributed to both Tyree Glenn and Duke Ellington. The notes, by Nat Hentoff, say “Tyree Glenn wrote [B1], first recorded by Duke Ellington. The arrangement here is Nat Pierce’s.”
