The fortepiano used in this recording was built in 1825 by Alois Graff in Vienna, and was restored in 1989 by Edwin Beunk and Johan Wenink in Enschede, The Netherlands; its pitch is A-430. The cello is by Mattio Gofriller (1690s, Venice), the bow by W. Bouman (1973, The Hague).
