“Eau” (Water) (1984) was produced at the Métamorphoses d’Orphée studio (Ohain, Belgium) and premiered on April 21, 1984 by Violette Beaujeant in an initial version with amplified zheng during the 1er Festival acousmatique at Le Botanique in Brussels (Belgium). (Final zheng version: 1986.)

“Feu” (Fire) (1986) was produced at the Métamorphoses d’Orphée studio (Ohain, Belgium) and premiered on June 6, 1986 at the Synthèse Festival of experimental music in Bourges (France).

“Bois” (Wood) (1986) was produced at the Métamorphoses d’Orphée studio (Ohain, Belgium) and premiered during the Cinéma pour l’oreille concert series, organized by the Première université de la radiophonie, on August 14, 1986 in Arles (France).

“Métal” (Metal) (1983) was produced at the Métamorphoses d’Orphée studio (Ohain, Belgium) and premiered at the Café-théâtre Stalcker in Brussels (Belgium) on December 18, 1983.

“Terre” (Earth) (1991) was commissioned by INA-GRM, produced at the GRM using SYTER at 123 studios (Paris, France), and mixed at the Métamorphoses d’Orphée studio (Ohain, Belgium). It premiered on January 30, 1991 in a concert of the Clair de terre series organized by the Association pour la création et la recherche électroacoustiques du Québec (ACREQ), under the direction of Robert Normandeau, at the Planétarium de Montréal (Québec). The present version (produced in 1992) is a stereophonic reduction of the 8-track original intended for radiophonic stereo listening.

Comes with a 32-page booklet in French & English with a separate 2-sided insert.
